Features
include built-in DSP-based IF down/up conversion, Avalon's unique LOOP recording mode and on-the-fly SKIP data
protection permitting events to be captured even when their time of
arrival is not known. As

Avalon's

AE8222 and
AE8250
disk
recorders,
AE8400 is designed for operational use
in a wide range of static, mobile and airborne platform
environments. The hot-swappable disk ensures a rapid re-arm time
once the media is full. AE8400
is supported by a range of additional accessories including
rack-mount kits, a dedicated low-cost data extraction unit and a
comprehensive suite of remote control, networking and data
management tools
