AE3000FL is a family of 8, 12 and 18 MHz S-VHS analog recorder/reproducers designed specifically to satisfy the needs of critical SIGINT, ELINT, ASW and telemetry applications. There are single and multi-channel variants within each bandwidth range. Other input configurations can be specified as custom options. Some models can be switched between single and multi-channel operation for pre- and post-detection recording from FM, linear and logarithmic receivers. Analog data can be reproduced in both analog and 8-bit digital formats.

Avalon recorders are noted for their excellent reliability, even under the most testing field conditions. Each system is totally self-contained with power supply and a full record/reproduce capability - plus all necessary channel multiplexing/demultiplexing, if applicable.

AE3000FL Series recorders require no routine calibration and offer a typical MTBF of over 8000 hours. All are backed by our unique 5000 hour / 3 year warranty. An optional built-in IRIG timecode generator/reader is available (with Avalon extensions for event marking and year recording)
