Description

Offering outstanding signal fidelity, AE8222 is a flexible single-channel, multi-mode baseband SIGINT disk recorder designed primarily as a straightforward replacement for legacy 6, 8 and 12 MHz S-VHS cassette tape recorders.

Features include Avalon's unique LOOP recording mode and on-the-fly SKIP data protection permitting events to be captured even when their time of arrival is not known.

This compact, rugged go-anywhere recorder is designed for operational use in a wide range of static, mobile and airborne platform environments. The hot-swappable disk crate ensures a rapid re-arm time once the media is full.

AE8222 is supported by a range of additional accessories including rack-mount kits, a dedicated low-cost data extraction unit and a comprehensive suite of remote control, networking and data management tools.
