SIGINT Disk Recorder.
AE8250-series
Features AE8250
offers an unrivalled 50 MHz bandwidth in a 4-u, half-rack package. Single, dual
and four-channel channel versions are available, with a range of flexible baseband (video)
and IF recording options. Features
include Avalon's unique LOOP recording mode and on-the-fly SKIP data
protection permitting events to be captured even when their time of
arrival is not known. This
compact, rugged go-anywhere recorder is designed for operational use
in a wide range of static, mobile and airborne platform
environments. The hot-swappable disk ensures a rapid re-arm time
once the media is full. AE8250
is supported by a range of additional accessories including
rack-mount kits, the dedicated low-cost AE2602 Disk Crate
Reader and a
comprehensive suite of remote control, networking and data
management tools (ARU). In
addition to the standard network connectivity for data extraction to a
host computer, AE8250-series recorder also support BACKUP/
RESTORE directly to/from an attached (optional) LTO-3 tape
drive.
