AE8400-series
Features
Features
across the
AE8400
range include built-in DSP-based IF down/up conversion, Avalon's unique LOOP recording mode and on-the-fly SKIP data
protection permitting events to be captured even when their time of
arrival is not known. As
with
Avalon's
smaller AE8250
series disk
recorders,
AE8400 is designed for operational use
in a wide range of static, mobile and airborne platform
environments. The hot-swappable disk ensures a rapid re-arm time
once the media is full. AE8400
is supported by a range of accessories including
lab and airborne rack-mount kits, the dedicated low-cost AE2604 Disk
Crate Reader and a
comprehensive suite of remote control, networking and data
management tool
(ARU).
